Asus ZenWatch 3 With 1.39-Inch Circular Amoled Display Launched at IFA 2016

31 August 2016 HIGHLIGHTS It's powered by a Snapdragon Wear 2100 SoC Like previous ZenWatch models, it runs on Android Wear Asus is promising a battery life up to two days As expected, Asus ahead of IFA 2016 on Wednesday unveiled its latest wearable - the ZenWatch 3 - at its Zenvolution event. The biggest change compared to the ZenWatch 2  is that it sports a round display instead of a square one - it also comes in only one size variant. The ZenWatch 3 has been priced at EUR 229 (roughly Rs. 17,000), which is significantly more expensive than the larger ZenWatch 2 model, which was priced at EUR 169 (roughly Rs. 12,600) when it was launched at IFA 2015. The Verge  reports  that the ZenWatch 3 will be available in the US and Germany from October. It now seems that Google might be discontinuing its second-generation Chromebook Pixel, with its disappearance from the Google Store in the US being noted. As per a report  by Venture Beat, the laptop listing on the Google Store shows an 'out of stock' message, which may be an indication that Google doesn't want to go ahead with its Chromebook Pixel 2. Sri Lanka Police Arrest Teen for Hacking President's Website to Postpone ExamAgence

  30 August 2016 Sri Lanka's police Monday arrested a 17-year-old teenager for hacking into President Maithripala Sirisena's official website and posting a message calling for the postponement of A-level examinations. The unnamed boy was taken into custody under the Computer Crimes Act and on conviction faces a fine of LKR 300,000 ($2,000) and up to three years in jail. "We traced the hack to his home in Kadugannawa," a police official said referring to a town about 100 kilometres (62 miles) east of the capital Colombo. "The website was crippled over the weekend after the attack." On Monday, the president's official site was up and running again. The attacker had removed the home page of the website and replaced it with a demand that the President postpone the ongoing GCE Advanced Level examinations or step down.
