Alcatel Shine Lite With Fingerprint Scanner, 13-Megapixel Camera Launched at IFA 2016

Ahead of the IFA 2016 tradeshow in Berlin, Alcatel has launched a new smartphone - the Shine Lite. With a focus on camera for good photography, Alcatel's Shine Lite boasts of a 13-megapixel camera that is also the biggest highlight of this smartphone.
The new Alcatel Shine Lite sports a metallic design along with glass. The smartphone is available is available in three different colours - Black, Gold, and White.
The Alcatel Shine Lite runs on Android, but the version has not been specified as yet. It houses a 5-inch HD (720x1280 pixels) IPS display with 2.5D glass coated on both front and back sides of the phone. A metal chassis runs through left and right sides of the phone. There is no information yet available on the SoC that Shine Lite runs on.
The Shine Lite has a 13-megapixel rear camera with flash support, which is just next to the camera. For selfies and other front camera-shooting requirements, Shine Lite bears a 5-megapixel camera. The front camera is also equipped with the flash module for low-light conditions. Alcatel has simplified the photographs sorting with a complete new folder meant only for selfies. Besides, you can also create videos with your vanity shots through an app called Face Show.
There is also a fingerprint scanner that is located at the back side of the phone in the centre. With a price of less that EUR 199 or $225 (or roughly Rs. 15,000), the Alcatel Shine Light can give a competition to Motorola Moto G4 Plus for the features it comes with.


The smartphone should arrive in Europe, the Americas and Asia this month.
